This is the first thing folks here learn: if your lot backs the Saddle Rock Golf Course, Aurora city code says you can't put up a solid wood privacy fence. It has to be an open wrought-iron "view fence" with masonry columns, so the fairway stays in view. We build those to the rule and get your ACC and the city to sign off.
Off the course, the trouble is the deep clay and the wind. The clay swells when it gets wet and pushes posts up until the whole fence leans, and the open lots catch the wind like a sail. We set the posts deep, past the clay to solid ground, so yours stays straight and passes the right ACC the first time.

Saddle Rock is inside the City of Aurora, so a fence permit goes through Aurora's own building office (303-739-7420), not the county. Your ACC — Saddle Rock Golf, Saddle Rock Ridge, or Saddle Rock Ranches — has to say yes first. We handle both.
